I've only had this chair for a couple of days. The pluses are that it is roomy, the back is nicely padded, the arms are comfortable and stable, and the piston works to make it rise - none of which were still true of the chair it is replacing. It is an attractive color and was not hard to put together until the last screw which did not want to seat in the boring, but there you are. The down side is that it doesn't have great padding on the seat. I spend 12-18 hours a day in my office chair - not healthy, but it's how it is for right now. I was hoping for a couple of months of sitting on a cloud before that gave way to bricks. It isn't without padding - it just doesn't have the kind of padding it looks like it has in the photos. I have been sitting on three cushions in my old chair, so am just moving them to this one for my marathon sessions in it. I was just hoping that aspect would be better if Staples had their name on it. Not so much.
