This hybrid non-stick is everything I've been searching for--finally! I have standard anolon non-stick pans, that I like but my main one didn't last past 1yr and can't handle high heat. The hybrid, however, seems like it will last much longer due to the material and works great on higher heat, with the aluminum bottom that seems to leave it very well protected from typical wear on the outside. The hybrid grid design works as advertised and so far has been easy to clean as well! This is the only hybrid NON-TOXIC pan that I've been able to find and is well worth the price! I've only had it for about 1 month now but have been able to cook numerous different foods, all without issues. It's great at quickly crisping up veggies, with very little oil, without getting obliterated with stuck on, burnt food - like cast iron. I can't recommend this enough and wish I had more!

The construction and finish on this cookware are impressive—definitely feels like high-end quality for the price. However, I've run into some issues using them on my glass-top electric stove (non-induction). The pots are designed with a tapered shape—wide at the top and narrow at the base—so the portion that actually contacts the burner is smaller than expected. Because of this, I have to use the smaller burners to avoid too much burner surface being exposed, which significantly slows down heating. Steaming vegetables recently took much longer than usual. While these might work great on other types of stoves, they're not the best fit for my setup.

This 8 3/4 pan is perfect for 2 ppl, heats evenly and food stays in middle of pan which is why I bought this pan. It behaves like cast iron minus the weight and need to season it. Cleaning is a breeze using dish washing liquid and a Scrub Buddy. I don't use the dishwasher to clean any of my pans. On to the non stick—isn't happening even with added fat/oil. The stainless steel mesh is a good idea but it feels raised in the pan when I use a silicone spatula. I would replace all my pans if it wasn't for this issue

I have not had new cookware in years & what I was using was fairly cheap set. I love these pots & pans. The skillets distribute heat well so everything in the pan cooks evenly. Clean up is a breeze in the pots & pans. I left alfredo noodles in the pot overnight to see how hard they would be to get off the next day. No problem at all, washed right off easy. The bottoms of these pans rest evenly on my flat top stove, some of my other pots don't. The skillets do seem to take longer to heat up than what I'm used to. I look forward to using these for years. I would definitely recommend this set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have used analon skillets next to my set of copper cookware for decades. Every few years I replace my analon skillets just because they get so much use. My copper cookware just get polished and they’re ready to go after all these years. Why the X surface? I cook everyday, I do not cook meat. The analon skillet is great as always. It’s a shame I could only get them with this fake X surface glued on the bottom. Please consider releasing a line without it.

Your pan is perfect for searing, I did a steak. But, my bad, I was trying to replace a Meyer 9.5 in standard non-stick frying pan I damaged (also my bad). I'm working with this one, fish is a tough go and I think a fried egg will be really hard but I'll continue with pre-heating and a little extra oil to get it as non-stick as I can. Great for what is advertised.More

These are the most incredible cookware I've ever used. I like that they are non-stick, and heavy duty. My wife has a problem with the weight of the pots and pans, but I find them more durable. \nThe only problem I have is not with the cookware, but with the grates on the stove. The bottoms are getting scratched, but it hasn't affected the performance or quality of our Analon X.\nThank you for an outstanding product, and don't be afraid to send me free items.

When after 8 months they started to bubble and flake I did what i should have done the first time.\n\nI purchased the Anolon Accolade set!\n\nDO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!

This frypan and matching lid are great quality with the lid fitting perfectly snug. The base of the pan is between 10" and 12", but the top width of the pan is 12". The instructions caution that the lid and pan have different maximum temperatures if put in the oven. My first item cooked was a quesadilla which was perfectly browned without any oil.
