This is EXACTLY what I want. This is a wonderful machine. It is larger than some might have space for on their desk, but it is solid, and silent, and swift. The keyboard is smooth in operation and the print is easy to see and easy to read. I kept looking for a HEAVY DUTY calculator, but they just kept making them smaller and lighter weight and more expensive and filled with extra features. This has all the features that would be needed in a busy office situation, or a home office as I have. I love it!

I want something that, quite simply, works. No internet, no messaging on the screen, no complications, no "voice assistant" listening, no "suggestions", no interruptions. This calculator works great the old fashioned way. Footprint a bit smaller than it's predecessor. It has the weight and the quality to last for many years. I research for hours and hours to find THIS kind of equipment and then I spring to get it while it's still available.

I have used this model of calculator for 30 years. The last one I purchased about 5 years ago from another store, but it will not print any longer. I changed out the ink cartridge, but even changing the ribbon did not help. Otherwise, it looked and worked like new. A co-worker had the same problem with her exact model calculator. I am hoping I don't have the problem with this one.

Sharp products are always good, but this one seemed new, but the screen would not light up. The tape was new, the packing appeared new and everything looked and worked except the display was much to light for me to read. It think, maybe, this was defective. I brought it back, but I would buy it again in the store somewhere so I could make sure it worked.
