I have had a pair of these for 5+ years and had worn them out with holes where my big toe sits in both shoes. It was a no brained for me to order another pair as the previous were fantastic. Well let me tell ya they have changed them. They look the same, in fact appear to be better as the heel cup is a little deeper and they stay on your feet better, but that's where the similarities end. The cushioning in the ball of the foot area isn't as much now and that's where I need it! I can't say they are unwearable as they are very warm but they are not like my previous pair. The material isn't as expandable so the top part of the shoe is very stiff and has to be worn with socks or it hurts the top of my feet. I bought the owls and they are super cute. Beware these are not like the old pair from 5-7 years ago. It's hard to find a house shoe that has an rubber sole but is still like a slipper, I have looked else where trying to find a cheaper option but kept coming back to these so decided to reorder and will admit I have been let down. Why do companies change a good thing? It beats me. SMH

east coast LLBean girlie stuck in out west in the desert, but still needed my winter clogs! my mom had these for YEARS in the 90s and now I know why. honestly cute, warm, and comfy right out of the box. i would definitely say they're true to size, but if you are between sizes AND plan to wear fuzzy socks with them like me, i would get your upper end size. i am an 8.5/9 and the 9s fit perfectly with socks on and are a little roomy barefoot ( I don't intend on wearing them without socks). only less than perfect thing is that the tops of the shoes have already creased from walking, but I got the black ones so it's not too noticeable. get them, there are no downsides!

I have been looking for these slippers my whole life. I wear out slippers pretty quickly. I thought it was me, but when I finally looked at reviews and ratings and found these slippers, which in the ratings say will last a while, I realized it wasn't me. Most slippers simply aren't well made! I just got them, so I can't yet attest to their longevity, but they FIT (in the past all slippers were too big) and they are cozy and look strong. And, I got the purple ones, which also makes me happy. Thank you!!!

I have been searching for a replacement of my old Ugg's for quite a while. My original Ugg slippers from the 1990's lasted over 10 years! Second and third pair maybe 3 years. Now, I consider them high priced junk. I was pleased to find the L.L. Bean slipper with shearling and even more excited when I slipped them on. Memory foam footbed, was what sold me. I am very happy with them, they were reasonably priced and seems well made. Time will tell how long they last but for now it's a win!

I love these slippers! I have purchased probably five pairs over the past ten years. When a motif and color are added that I like, I purchase another pair. I wear these slippers occasionally outdoors on pavement only. They are warm and amazingly comfortable. I wear them with socks on extra cold days. I have also given these slippers as gifts and the recipients love them, too. My favorite slippers…you will not be disappointed.

These slippers have been chosen the best by the New York Times section Wirecutter, which rates just about everything. The slippers are attractive, warm, and provide solid footing both indoors and out because of the rubber sole. They last for ages. Be sure to check out the LL Bean YouTube tutorial to tie the rawhide laces securely so they don't come undone.

Although my everyday favorites for years are the wicked good clogs, I decided to try these slippers for a change. They are very comfortable ,very cushiony and warm and I like the color choices. ( I got pink). I m a size 7.5-8 and sized down to size 7 . The rubber sole provides good traction indoors and out. I highly recommend these slippers.

I recommend highly, There are two correctable flaws, though: as other reviewers have pointed out, the leather lace tends to come undone easily; and it would really be better if LLBean offered half sizes. My boyfriend gave these to me as an early christmas present and they are so comfortable and warm. I love the blue color and the size is perfect. I'm normally a 6 1/2 but he got me 7's which was good because any smaller and they may not have fit that great. I love L.L. Bean and their products are always on point.

Very cozy and comfortable cushioned slipper. I like them better than other popular brand slippers. I bought them to keep at my son's home for visits where hardwood floors cover every room. I'm very with this purchase! I like the nonslip durable tread and especially like the sherpa lining.

These are the best slippers. So cute and comfy. They are true to size and so nice to slip on and live in. Only four stars because the comfort needs to last longer. I do wear these all of the time at home and I'm always home. But I have neuropathy and have to buy a new pair every six months. I'm sure they'd last longer for most. I need more colors too, I've had every color.

I loved the slippers but had to return them as they were way too big for me. They were really beautiful and well made. The wool was soft and the colors were exactly as pictured. I wear a narrow and they were just too wide. The length was good but didn't work for me.

I have had a pair in the berry color for over a year now. The color still looks great and they are super comfortable and warm. I ordered my usual size 8 but easily could have worn a size smaller. I'm going back for a different color this year in a size 7.

These slippers mold around your feet and hug your arches. They are fantastic and not overly warm but keep your feet toasty without getting sweaty, even with socks. I love the solid bottoms to and wear them outside the house often too.
