I tried this on in store and really wanted it to work because the material, construction, and fit are all excellent. I'm fairly tall and long-limbed, and most LL Bean standard fits are too short in the sleeves for me, but this was perfect. The deal breaker was the color. Yikes. This shade of "beige" is extremely yellow, to the point that it almost leans a touch green (but a very sickly shade of green, if you catch my drift). That color is only flattering if you have exactly the right undertone - if you're cool or even neutral in skin tone, I would steer clear. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common problem with LL Bean, especially in the signature line - light "neutrals" are either very warm leaning or just straight up grey. Would love to see some more options that are actually neutral in tone.
