I am very happy with the extra color this brings to the bathroom. Eventually I will have a glass shower door installed. As a quilter, this design appealed to me. I did not want a shiny backsplash in my kitchen, and the slate adds interest and color. My walls are sage green, and there is enough green cast to compliment the color scheme. It would work with almost any warm-tone decor. Some tile flats were monotonous in color, so I hand-selected the ones with the most variety. My contractor said that grouting was the hardest he's ever done because of the different thicknesses and rough texture. It required repeated washings to get the grout removed from the face of the tile. After all his hard work, it is exactly what I want.

I used the squares in strips to replace some outdated decorative tile. This was my first time doing a backsplash and it turned out even better than I thought it would! This tile gave my kitchen a much needed modern touch with right amount of old world texture and color I wanted. After it was done, I actually thought of redoing the entire backsplash using just this tile! Of course, this was out of the question since I was on a budget and did not have the time for that level of DIY project. I would definitely buy this again for my next kitchen!

Beautiful stone and natural combination of earth tone colors that blend well with a grey or silver grout. This product must be treated with oil sealant and installed by a pro which will make colors a little bit darker but they really pop. Well worth the money and great value for a rich natural finish! Grouting is tricky with natural stone because of uneven contours and if this product is installed correctly you will be very happy with the results. Use a real tile pro who knows Natural Stone and install differences from standard ceramic tile!

My first time putting up tile. This is beautiful!!! It was easy to cut and high quality. Tile colors vary from box to box, so lay out your tiles first and pick from different boxes to get a good overall look.\r\nAlso, I sealed the tile twice before I grouted then sealed it again. (Miracle Tile, Stone & Grout Sealer for natural stone). I am very happy with the way it turned out.

They are a beautiful stone but when received they weren't exactly like the picture didn't have as much rustic color more gray. Wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but the ones that insulted it made it work and turned out beautiful. But the stones tile wasn't the same as photo so that was a little deceiving and it could of been a very cost mistake as we don't live near a home depot and it could of made big delays.

This tile was easy to install because of the square style. Be aware this stone does darken (like all stone) when you clean off the dust and seal it. Make sure to seal it the stone before you grout, I found out the hard way. Overall, it was an easy product to install and looks more expensive than it is.

Looks great in new kitchen. Grouting is a concern, as light colored grout will fill in all the nooks and crannies and show up as splotches...so fair warning. Use a matte sealer to help the stone colors "pop. "

Be aware if ordering online. The peach colored tile as shown in the company's photo is really a deaper orange with bits of grey in it nowadays. \nIn the photo, on the right is the original tile that I bought years ago, and on the left is the still wrapped tile I just bought. Thinking I might return it, or try to find another 4x4 to fit in the space. Trying to match to maple cabinets.

these tiles went on very easy to the mastic that Home Depot had in stock. The 12 X 12 tiles stuck to the applied mastic nicely. The only suggestion I can offer is to be aware of the spacing of the tiles to insure that they are vertical and horizonal. Nice color combination throughout each 12x12 tile.
