I needed a new set of snow tires this fall for an all wheel drive vehicle that my wife uses to take the grand kids to school here in Maine when the weather is really nasty. The last set of snow tires (not Cooper) were very noisy and did not wear well for only 2 winters. These Evolution winter tires are much quieter. They handle well on wet or dry paved roads. We have not had much snow yet this year so I can not judge traction or handling in deep snow conditions yet but in light fluff and surface ice they are certainly much better than all season tires. However note I just bought a set of Cooper Endeavor Plus all season tires for my daughter's mini van as a Christmas present for year round use as she does not drive much in the winter. I hope the Evolution Winter tires wear reasonably well since the lack of snow cover this season will take its toll before I change them in the spring. At that time I will need to get a new set of summer tires probably similar to the Cooper Endeavor all season tires. I have used other Cooper manufactured snow tires in the past with moderate success but it is important to note that the Evolution Winter tires are much quieter and smooth running. It can be a trade off sometimes between noise and maximum traction but if a tires is too noisy the ride experience is degraded. I suspect these tires are designed with directional tread to maximize traction and decrease noise by computer. The tread design looks aggressive and works so far in my steep driveway. No complaints so far.

I have had these tires on for 2 winters now and can say that they are fantastic in the snow, sleet, rain and ice (I did stud them). They are wearing good. The only downfall is they are a bit noisy, but I expected that with a studded aggressive tire. I drive a Subaru Corsstrek and I never feel out of control, even when trying to get it out of control! Definitely recommend these for anyone that has to drive in the snow.

Best winter tire out there. Well balanced for snow, ice, slush, hard pack, etc. Great traction in almost any condition from my usage. \n\nCooper tire, please keep making these tires exactly the way you make them. I especially like the grooving across all "ribs" of the tire for good hydroplaning resistance, water evacuation and biting edges. I chose these over the other brands because the siping is actually full depth. Other brands do maybe half depth siping which is an utter dissapointment. These tires are the way to go. The noise is not even as bad as some people make it out to be. These tires are made for traction. No biggie there.

My girlfriend & I have a manual Scion tC that is lowered 3-inches+body kit & we live in Montana. We're tire freaks & we're very impressed with the Cooper Evolution which basically is a low profile snow stud-able tire for cars, depending what series you get of course (in our case got the 50-series). We were out test driving the tires which we were very pleased with when we had to stop at an intersection on a ice+snow covered hill. Somewhat concerned on the situation but eager to find how well they performed, the tires didn't let us down. My girlfriend was so impressed her reaction was they handled so well that they deserve a review!

Bought these for my Daughter's Chevy Impala. I have run Blizzak, WeatherMasters, General Arctic, Nitto SN2, and several others on my Avalon over the years...NOTHING touched this tire.\r\n\r\nI live in Western CO, and drive almost 50K miles per year in total, including over every major mountain pass in Colorado and adjoining states, and I have run d every winter tire on the market. I am more impressed with these in overall performance on front wheel drive sedans, than anything else I have ever run!!!\r\n\r\nGreat job, Cooper...and made in USA is awesome bonus!

On my 2006 Subaru these are some nice tires. It gets up and down the hills in the snow well, and icy road grip is very good. I had doubts about the ice road grip due to a seemingly small amount f studs, but these came through just fine. Fewer well placed studs makes for less road noise, and the tread is deep enough to handle the limited snow we had in the Northeast this winter. I would buy these again for sure. Well priced and good value for the money.

I live in the snowiest town at the top of a mountain in the snowiest county in WV. Got these on a Ford Focus that I use to get stuck in my driveway.....after shoveling out. These tires got me out though the plow truck build up and a notorious part of the road that blows shut. Honestly did better than my Jeep in 4 wheel drive does. Only 1 time did traction control warning come on but I still made it a hour down the mountain.

Please never discontinue these. These are all I'll buy for a winter tire. I bought these years ago and studded them. Not only did they get me through 8" of snow but it was 8" of snow on a frozen logging road in an Eclipse Cross! These tires are great in deep thick nasty mud, ice and snow. The tread depth is what sold me initially having more than its competitors and it makes a difference. Blizzaks can suck it!

These are excellent tires, my vehicle handles remarkably better on the snow and ice. The ride noise isn't too bad for snow tires. Recently purchased and installed four Cooper Evolution Winter studable tires. My main concern was the possible road noise from the aggressive tread pattern. I was really surprised to hardly notice any increase in road noise from the all season tires that were on there when I bought it. The car handles well. I haven't had to test them in snow yet, but with the tread design they should grip well in snow.

Put these on a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. We had a longer and snowier winter than normal here in South Dakota and these tires really impressed me! Changed my front wheel drive van into almost an all wheel drive - when the tires were driven properly. And the new stopping distance on snow packed roads was amazing! I have recommended these tires to many people already and almost can't wait for next winter.

I have a front Wheel, drive VW beetle and the snow tires are excellent in the snow but I just got back from Vermont. I didn't hear the studs because they were completely wore off all the way around. I'm thinking they're cheaper studs. I had nokian tires for five seasons never had that problem. This is the first season with Cooper evolution tires when we did have snow, and ice they were great

I had two sets over 9 years installed on a FWD Toyota Camry. The full sipes make this snow tire very effective w/good longevity. Great stopping and traction. Now I have a RX350 with an extra set of factory rims and there are no Evolution Winters in a 235/55r20. Please make the Evolution Winter in my size! No way will I purchase a True North without full sipes.

I replaced my old winter tires with these and I am very impressed. They are very capable in the wet snow as well as hard pack of Minneapolis streets. I encourage people to use winter tires for the added safety in both stooping and turning. These tires also seem to wear well, as I did not change them out during the summer and the tread is still substantial.

Had all terrain tires on my 2021 jeep grand Cherokee, in the rain and snow I just didn't feel safe. My car would slide and caused me a lot of anxiety. Decided to purchase the cooper evolution tires and so glad I did. I do a lot of traveling with my job and I feel confident and safe with these tires. They grip so well in the snow, ice, and rain.

I bought these for this winter not really expecting good or bad. But these were absolutely amazing, I have a 2019 Toyota Corolla and these help it get through the snow with no problems. I live in Northern New York and winter of 2022-23 was definitely a doozy for us up here and these tires exceeded my expectations, I will be purchasing again.

Great set of tires. My driveway goes straight up. Recently had a heavy snow and driveway was not plowed when I got home from work...Made it up with now problem whatsoever.. I did have mud and snow tires on, but switched to the evolution tires and had no problem whatsoever making it up the hill. So glad I decided to go with these tires.

These tires are the ones you want!!!! I tow heavy, very heavy equipment and these tires last longer than any other tires I've tried! And I had tried them all!!! COOPER DID IT RIGHT!!! Well, I am attempting to find a great tire for the ol Suba. I just received two new ones and they mounted pretty well. I balanced the rim after burring it clean. Then I mounted the tire. (Nice snug fit). Balanced tire with rim and was pretty heavy on one side. But they run smooth even with the bubble balancer! \n\nNow to learn how the mileage will go. In addition, I am tough on air pressure. I like to run what is recommended 44 (Cold Max PSI). I will start these out at 42 PSI. I will watch for tire wear for the first week or two and then adjust as needed. Toe in was good and the frontend is tight.

I'm impressed how fast they got delivered to me how easily they were put on I like the way the Treads run, they balance real well they seem to grip in the corners nicely and I'm waiting for winter to hit so I can really give a review thank you for having those available to me for such a reasonable price.

In the past, I have used the best brand name Winter tires, however, the Cooper Evolution Winter tire is without doubt, the best Winter tire I have ever used - (for all the 5-star reasons that I have rated (it) here. The distributor, SimpleTire is also an outstanding company to do business (with).

Great tires for snowy and cold wet roads. Tire noise which can be a problem with winter tires is kept to a minimum. Very happy with my purchase of the Cooper Evolution Winter tires for my Chrysler 300. Glad I got 4, feel safer and more in control with one at every corner

Got this tire for 2013 Toyota Rav4 with 17 inch aftermarket rims. Tire have very good grip have driven about 3K mile at time of this review in the winter months in upstate NY. Tire handle very well in ice / snow conditions, ride comfort is very good, low noise.

A little weird because I got 2 delivered and was mildly concerned that they were all I was getting, but the remaining 2 came the next day. It was like 4 days total from order to delivery, and they're good tires. We'll see how they do the the New England snow.
