This GE Range is a great mid-level machine for anyone looking to save some money but have a range with very high level features. First of all the build quality is very good. The stainless steel is a fine grade and the ceramic coated black top is quite striking. The grates are first rate, heavy and I like the way they stand a little higher off the range top so as to keep your food in your pots from burning or being over done. \n\nThe install is quite simple if you're replacing an existing gas range and it took me less than 10 minutes. I have laminate flooring in the kitchen and this thing glided across the floor without leaving marks or scratches. The leveling legs are thick plastic and therefore no metal feet digging into the floor which I thought was a nicely thought out feature. I was advised by the HD drop off crew to put the oven on bake at 400 for 30 minutes as the inside cavity is coated with a food grade type of oil that protects it in storage but you would want to bake off. I did that and it's ready to use now. \n\nThe thing that amazed me is that while that was cycling i kept checking the top of the range (grates and top itself) with my hands to see how hot the range top would get as I read other reviews claiming it got everything too hot. During the entire cycle nothing on top got more than really warm except for the dead center back where the oven vents, otherwise it was cool to the touch on all the grates and griddle. After getting the install done I fired up all the burners individually and together. \n\nThey all lit right on cue and each one the flame was perfect. Nice blue steady flame, no orange or yellow or flame shooting to the sides. We made breakfast on the range this morning, eggs were done quickly and evenly as the burners produce such an even flame. We did sausages on the griddle, they turned out great with some nice browning on the tops. Haven't baked in it yet bit I can't wait as I know that will be just as good. Overall, for the money spent (which I got more than $331 off at HD) I don't think you could get a better machine. This looks great, works great and comes in at a price level that won't bust your wallet! If you're looking, I'd say to go with this now!

The stove looks really nice. I like that The burner dials have a black line at shut off instead of Red like my previous stove. And I like that the griddle and stove burners are flush. It makes it easier to cook without feeling like the pots are going to fall into the middle of the stove. And the cast-iron burner grates are something every stove should have. After having them, that would definitely be a dealbreaker if the stove did not have cast-iron burner grates.\nI do not like the fact that the broiler is under the stove on the floor. I am not sure who thought this was a good design, but it is terrible. You have to get down in your hands and knees to put anything in the broiler or pull it out, which is ridiculous. The location of that feature is incomprehensible. \nSince that feature was not a dealbreaker for me because I don't use it that often, I bought the stove because it was a good value for the price.

The stove we currently had stopped working. This stove was well-regarded and within our price range. We have been happy with the oven and cooktop. Not so thrilled about the broiler drawer below the oven---I'm pretty limber, but it's still a pain to have to flip down the drawer and check the status of my burgers or steak. I would much prefer the broiler to be at the top of the oven under the gas flame.\n\nThe only other point is the finish on the grate doesn't seem to be permanent--or maybe we just slide our pans across the grates instead of picking them up and setting them down. In any case, you can see the missing black matte finish on the grates It doesn't affect utility of the stove---but it does affect esthetics. We bought this stove in October 2025, so it's not even a year old.

Great stove. The burners all work nice and heat quickly. Overall the stove is amazing. The only cons I have with it is the griddle rusted shortly after a few washes but I had purchased separately the middle grate so I swapped out the griddle. The other con is the broiler which my household uses often. It cooks good but the drawer is inconvenient when you open it, it doesn't slide out it just flaps down, and the rack that you cook on is just that a rack no pan for drippings so it falls on the bottom of the stove. I use a broiler pan and take the rack out. The broiler door is in the way of sliding either the rack or the pan out. That's was poor detailing. But the the rest of the stove is great. Also, you wont need a night light in your kitchen the clock is nice and bright.

I received my new GE French Door 33" wide refrigerator in September and am loving it so far. It has good lighting, is very quiet, offers good shelving configurations and fits well into my rather small kitchen. It replaced a Samsung refrigerator, which I loved but had several problems with over the eight years I had it, including a broken ice maker having the compressor break twice. I did a lot of research on refrigerators before selecting this new GE model, and hope everything I learned about it will prove to be true. The only thing I'm not super happy about is the depth of the drawer than spans the width of the unit. It is quite shallow and this makes it difficult to reach items at the back of the drawer. Otherwise, I like it very much!

I've wanted a gas stove since learning to cook on my grandmother's stove as a child. Gas heats quickly, and the heat can be as quickly be shut down. The professional-style range that we wanted was out of our price range. I'd nearly given up on until I found this model of GE gas range. This may be considered an entry-level gas range, but it has a professional feel, especially the range top:

I’m looking forward to using the self-cleaning oven; I’ve never had one. One thing: the griddle in the center of the stove top gets really hot when the burners or oven is on. And that means that any spoons or utensils on a spoon rest also get hot. A positive is that the griddle part can keep things hot. I also like the size of the stove, and the griddle function. I’m sure the addition of the griddle will be a plus when we’re hosting a crowd.

Installation was a whole ordeal, but the stove itself is fantastic so far. I used to have a stove that had the fifth burner for the griddle in the middle so the whole top was a grate and the grates even folded up for cleaning…not only did I never use the middle griddle it was a nightmare to clean with a bunch of nooks everywhere and the grates were heavy and hard to clean. This is so streamline and easy. The burners work great and everything is very flat and streamlined so you can lift the grates off nd clean it in minutes. The oven has been great so far too cooking everything just right. I’ll never go back to the middle burner option!

Absolutely love the griddle feature those of you out there that get this oven that actually use the griddle treat it like a cast-iron pan whenever you watch it or whatever spray oil on it to treat it like you would a cast-iron pan that way it doesn’t show any rust and it looks black and it stays black. You treated the same way you would a cast-iron pan now. I do have a very much needed to request. I need an email for GE dishwashers design team. I need that sent to me ASAP. I can explain it here. I don’t know. I’ve looked in and searched and searched and I can’t find it but I need to get them some information ASAP OK on with my review.

Overall I like my new GE gas range, however I was surprised to find that the broiler is in a drawer under the range where the storage area was on my old stove. Totally inconvenient! You have to be almost sitting on the floor to operate and check anything being broiled which is all but impossible for those of us who are older. Add to that, finding the model/serial numbers used for registration are on the side of the stove in the same area. I needed my daughter to get down with a flashlight and magnifier to read it. There has to be a better way to do both of these.

I absolutely love my upgraded free-standing gas range! My previous one was 22.5 years old and I really loved it, but one burner always had to be manually lit and then we discovered a small gas leak in the hose running to the stove from the gas hook-up and decided to just buy a new range. I didn't want all the bells and whistles on my next one - I truly wanted the same model. I am really enjoying the larger burners and having a griddle option on the stovetop. It's so nice having all burners light and the stove is baking some beautiful loaves of bread. It's a great replacement after all these years!

Overall look and function are very nice. It's unfortunate and cumbersome to have to move the center burner-plate to clean under either side burner racks. They are heavy and cleaning becomes a big production to have to move them all to another surface. \nThe second problem is that you basically have to kneel on the ground to get pans in and out of broiler compartment. It's just awkward and dangerous to avoid burning yourself otherwise. A drawer would be better.

What I like is that nothing is electronic, except for the ignitors. The knobs on the front are simply mechanical valves that control the gas flow. The stovetop is great. I also like the oven; however, sometimes my food doesn't cook evenly. Not sure if this is a "me" issue, or if it's the oven itself...I know that I'll never need to use the Wi-fi feature so, I can't tell anyone how that is. I haven't had the time to actually use the self-clean and/or the steam-clean features; however, I hope to use one of these before the weather gets too warm!

I love my new stove. It is simple, but it does everything I need a stove to do. The burners are different sizes which is which is very helpful if you are using a small pot versus a large skillet. Also, they light instantly which my previous stove did not. The oven is the perfect size to prepare a small dinner for one or a Thanksgiving feast. There is nothing I don't love about this stove. If someone is looking for a new stove, I would definitely recommend this stove.

We just purchased this unit, we bought the Slate colored Range, the look is very modern and beautiful. The burners are great and we love the middle griddle, make s for an easy breakfast, for larger stuff we have a Blackstone and Weber but this is suer convenient for the mall meals. We usually just kept junk in the bottom drawer so we love the fact that this is a bottom broiler, we cook a lot of dishes with cheese and makes for an easy broil.

It looks pretty elegant with its simplicity, but I've had to modify to makeup for no clock/timer. Heats up very quickly on top and in the oven. Downside is that the grates over the burners are slippery and my pan starts to slide off the burner. I'm sure it will get roughed up as I cook more, but I am worried that if I step away to chop vegetables that the pan will fall off.

The size of the stove is the same as my old one but has more cooking space which is very helpful for a larger family. This range is beautiful, so shiney. Easy set up. The cast iron grates are excellent quality. After being without an oven for a week I'm anxious to make some homemade crackers but I don't want to get the range dirty. Lol. The griddle is an awesome add on for me. I was happy with the dual natural gas or propane. I chose the broiler instead of the bottom drawer. You will won't be sorry with this range at all.
