Absolutely love these book shelved. I bought 2 of them to put next to my fireplace mantel. I ordered the unfinished so that I could stain them and my fireplace at the same time and get the right color on all the pieces. It came out perfect. I tiled the fireplace added these bookshelves to hold video games,cable equipment, cherished photos and life's little knickknacks. It looks amazing. The two bookcases enabled me to get the exact look that I was going for.

Overall very pleased. Was super easy to put together by myself. BUT, pay attention to the directions. I had to disassemble twice due to pieces being in wrong spot, backwards. Directions weren't crystal clear, some of that may have been operator error. Very impressed with the backer board, quite solid (not cardboard) & secured with screws not small nails. The fire insert had extra screws to secure it to stand that had no pre-drilled holes, was able to use some elbow grease to put them in. Delivery was fast & there was zero damage.More

For the price I am happy with this combo. The electric fireplace is really great, good heat, and it\u2019s a huge plus to be able to adjust the thermostat vs just a highlow or onoff setting. Color is slightly more \u201clight brown\u201d vs a gray hue as I was hoping but it will have to do bc it was a beast to put together!

Took about 2 hours for me to build but the instructions are easy to follow. I suggest reading ahead to make sure everything fits properly! I have plenty of space for everything and it doesn\u2019t take up a bunch of room in my living room.
