Nice smooth clear acrylic. Seems sturdy enough. Perfect for our needs. I like this size because I can use a full sheet of paper to create my sign design. I can easily create my sign in Word or similar program without worrying about resizing cropping or cutting it afterward to fit. The horizontal orientation is perfect for the graphics I use. This sign holder cost a little more than I would have liked to spend. I found other places that were cheaper but sell in packages of 10 or so - and I only needed one. Since I order from Staples frequently it was nice to be able to add just the one to my order. I give only 4 stars due to the higher price but I definitely like the holder and the convenience. I would recommend it.

I enjoy having everything neat looking at work therefore having a plexy glass holder for my flyers specials menus and special monthly services is crucial to a clean and neat looking spa. However we are at at least two events a month and transporting such holders while they look fantastic tend to break scratch and dull over time after much transport. I use both the vertical as well as the horizontal displays. Using the various display's creates a nice choice of variety in any given area. I just wish there were a better way to transport them. Perhaps a special holder made with cloth that they slip into so they don't scratch or break in transport would be beneficial to all those vendors at events just like me.

The horizontal stand-up sign holder does everything you would expect it to do. It's easy to insert your display materials into and the clear plastic means that your display materials are easy to read (provided you haven't put any scratch marks on the plastic due to user error) . Only downside...it is made of a fairly lightweight plastic and is therefore prone to breakage if you handle it carelessly. We purchased several of these to use at conferences and tradeshows and they held up pretty well when packed and unpacked carefully but it was helpful to have a few back-ups on hand for those unfortunately incidents...

I use one of these as well as the vertical version on my marketing table at every trade show or event that set up. It is a great way to showcase your abilities as a company. I like before and after photos of jobsites to best illustrate our capabilities. I also use them for other promotions such as sign ing people up for contests in which they could win free carpet and/or furniture cleaning from our company. It is a great way to collect email addresses and phone numbers for future referrance when performing social media marketing.

I use these for our Senior Club bingo and the holder keeps the signs in them secure and clean. I like the stability of the two footed one. The other one falls off the table to much so this is the one I buy when needed. To bad I can't control how many people knock even these off the table but they are still the best.

I needed 6 sign holders for my classroom's activity centers and these are perfect. Staples delivered them free to my home so I didn't have to face the crush during those final days before school began. One had a production flaw but with an online contact it was replaced within a couple of days. Easy peasy!

This is an inexpensive holder from China. It comes in a protective plastic wrap. It's light weight and holds an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper fairly well. It should work better with something heavier than 20 lb. weight paper. Because the frame is so light it tips over easily if jarred.

We used this for an elevator certificate. And it worked very well other than the fact it was extremely difficult to get one piece of paper inserted. I would have given 5 starts if it had been easier to insert and remove documents.

I used this item to give a friend as a gift which consisted of a picture I had taken on one side and an inspirational poem on the back. I needed a "picture frame" which she could place on her desk but would allow her to see both sides at her whim. I had a hard time finding it because I asked an associate for a picture frame which did not work for my purposes. As a kindergarten teacher I use these stand up signs to set up small groups (names on each stand with colored paper for ID) and give directions to students. I also use them for the site words displayed at each table during writing workshop. The only big problem is that they are made of very brittle plastic and with young children One drop and they shatter!!!! Very expensive to replace on a teachers salary.

I was so pleased to find these sign holders; they are attractive and sturdy unlike some of the flimsy cheap ones I shopped. We use them to hold signs for a Book Sale supporting our public library and I have the satisfaction of knowing they will hold up for a long time. It was hard to let go of the money since we are a non-profit organization but again I know they will last.

I purchased this with the intention of sticking it on my wall to display a phonelist at work. It looks great however it cracked at the top when I pressed it into the wall. In fairness - I did not use the magnets provided because there was nothing magnetic to affix it to.

As usually happens with these sign holders it cracked where it bends when we slid paper into holder. Is still usable for now but will end up cracking all the way and need pitched. We were gentle with it not prying open far. it worked for the display we needed.

The frame cannot be permanently attached to a surface for display - the enclosed magnetics must be used. The frame is only open on the left and right sides and it must be removed from the display surface to insert the contents. If it is permanently attached and then the contents are inserted they will not enter entirely and crease in the middle. This is not a 3 sided open frame that would be more user efficient. It serves a purpose but certainly not mine. No other Lucite frames are offered.

Wasn't real happy with these. The plastic was so tight to get the document under. I had to use the HEAVY paper in order to get it between the plastic. It also only comes with Magnetic strips to attach to the back. I had to order something else to stick to the walls (which pushed my project up in expense for the # I had to purchase). Would probably suggest another brand.
