Installed this yesterday, and wow, what a difference from my 8yo Sony that came on my Cobalt. I added this RA670 with an SRX400 remote so that I could do PartyBus mode and control all my functions from my helm (SRX400). This stereo is nice and light, and was easy to mount into my glove box where the old head unit was. I had to modify the mounting location a little bit, but that's not of any fault of Fusion or the RA670. This little thing packs a good punch too. I was able to wire up an nice amp and sub, then wire in my SRX400 remote, and a wireless remote all relatively easy. Even connected to bluetooth from my Samsung phone very easily. I especially like the feature that I can change the name of this head unit to be whatever I want, so it's easily discernable when scanning for bluetooth devices to connect to from a phone. I'm really looking forward to using the full capabilities of this unit this summer on our boat.

Had a well work RA 770 in place when I heard about the new 800 series. Understanding that I dont use the internal amp which is one of the key upgrades it may seem hard to justify the move. But the screen resolution, apple CarPlay and faster processor are noticeable upgrades from the older RA770. The drop in replacement footprint coupled with the use of the same wire harness design allows you to drop in without wiring changes. Now having said that the RA770 had USB A connectivity with the additional USB cable. The RA800 has USB C and takes a different cable. The important thing to know is that the RA-800 Remote USB C cable has a smaller mounting hole than the RA 770 which means you can not reuse the existing bulkhead hole.

I would give it 4.5 if I could. Great sound. I am in a 5th wheel but all of the sound systems built for them are not very good. I can finally understand the dialogue without having to crank-up the volume. The DSP makes it really clear. The only issue I have is the lip sync is slightly off and I cannot totally fix it, but I do not know if that is the TV or the fusion or because of using an optical cable. I just know I didn't have that problem before with ARC.The only .5 down mark is that this does not come with a remote control, it is designed for you to download the app and use your phone, which I hate. What if you don't have an android or apple phone? It gets annoying having to get up every time you need to adjust the volume or change input. I grew up in the B&W/Color TV days, so I am not some whiny millennial, I just have bad knees and feet.

BOUGHT A RA70NSX AT 1ST AND HAD SOME ISSUES WITH IT. UPGRADED TO THE RA670 AND THE SYSTEM IS PERFECT NOW. THE HIGHER PRE-AMP ON THIS UNIT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERNCE IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE PLAYING IT WITH AN AMP. HAVE 4 WET SOUNDS REVO 6 SPEAKERS, 2 WET SOUNDS REVO 8'S AND A WET SOUNDS 10 INCH REVO SUB WITH 2 AMPS. THIS THING REALLY MAKES THE SYSTEM GREAT AND BALANCED.

This radio exceeded my expectations. Just installed it a couple days ago but loving it so far. We've only only got 2 fusion 7" speakers hooked to it so far and it looks and sounds amazing! Was thinking I would need an amp but it sounds super crisp and zero distortion even at high volume. Going to be installing 2 more speakers soon.

There are a lot of cheaper units out there for sure, but there aren't many better ones. This thing oozes quality - from the packaging, to the sound quality, to the fit and finish, to the tech - this unit is a complete package.This was my first Fusion purchase and as a result, now has me looking at purchasing other Fusion products.

The sound quality and location control is excellent. I upgraded my original stereo which was 11 years old. I also purchased Fusion speakers to upgrade the sound quality. The head unit allows you to select the speakers and amp you have by model if it is Fusion to optimize your sound quality automatically.

Premium build quality out of the box. Very straightforward installation. Syncs to phone, which allows a single volume control. Easy setup for tuning. Easily visible in sunlight. Hooked to Wet Sounds SYN-DX 6 amp being pushed to 4 JL Audio M6-880X-C-GwGw with a JL M12IB6-SG-WH sub. It gets pretty loud.

Great looking unit, intuitive to use. Worth the investment.Ran through 4 JL Audio 7.7's and 1 10" JL sub. Using the JL audio MX280/4 for the 7.7's and the JL Audio MX300/1 for the sub. Love the sound, I believe the silk tweeters combined with the Fusion produce a warm yet loud sound. Love it!

Haven't used too much yet, but got installed the first attempt. Cut wire harness off of old head unit make connecting back to existing wiring a breeze. Initial listen sounded great. Had to make an infill panel though to cover the hole in the dash, but thing it turned out well enough

I really like this unit, has great sound, very easy to use volume and music control buttons. Easy integration with my Garmin GPS using NMEA 2000, and the 5 volt pre-outs give my JL-Audio amps a nice strong of signal. Three zones is plenty for my center console. Not having built in WiFi is the only con for me, but saving $200 compared to the RA770 eases the pain. I highly recommend this unit!

Awesome radio, many great features, extremely easy to use. Also paired with EXR400 Remote (for helm), external amplifier and new fusion speakers. Very happy with how the system works. Selecting sources, adjusting audio zone are a snap!

Major upgrade to 8 year old Fusion power head that just croaked. Game changer is the Fusion DSP upgradable software. Did not change the 8 year old Fusion speakers already installed. This thing made the old speakers sound better than brand new. If you have Fusion Speakers already, the DSP can be set specifically to the Fusion speaker model you have installed.

Great equipment. Easy to install. I had to call tech support to figure out why the remote wouldn't power up and they were great. It was just something small that I missed in programming. The system sounds amazing.

Fantastic head unit that allows my cabin and deck speakers to really shine and have different settings. Combined with the nema networking I now can control everything from my chart plotter at the helm.

Great radio! I had issues with my last Sony radio where the music would cut out during peaks. In The Air Tonight is a prime example. Now with the feed-forward technology, that is no longer an issue.

Fairly straight forward setup, sounds great. Fusion link phone app almost makes the remotes obsolete except for the driver remote.
