We had gotten a set of Cuisinart knives 15 years ago when we got married, and had put them through the ringer, so it was time for a new set. Cuisinart has definitely upped their game! The blades of these new knives are a bit thicker and sturdier as such. They are SHARP!!! Dicing all the veggies (and fruit or whatever else too) is a breeze! The steak knives are amazing! The steak knives in our old set were not serated, the ones in this set are, and they work so well. The scissors in this set are also phenomenal. I use kitchen scissors for cutting raw chicken, bread dough, so many random things, and these are the best kitchen scissors I have ever owned. \nWe also own a very expensive butcher knife from a pricey brand that begins with Cut.... and this butcher knife is actually nicer than that one!\nThis knife set is gorgeous! I love the white handles! And the wood block is actually stunning! Our old knife block was nothing special, it was dull, rough, and boring. This new wood block is smooth, polished, and sealed! It really does look beautiful!\nI look forward for using this Cuisinart set for decades to come (with proper care of course)!

Whether you are a professional cook or a beginner, it's perfect for any kitchen.The hard wooden block has little nubs on the bottom, to help prevent slippage. The block is thick, sturdy, and sets all the knives perfectly in place. The quality of these knives are wonderful. Each of the knives are super sharp, reliable to tackle whatever meal you're preparing, and they do not dull easily! Each one glides as smooth as butter. My favorite part of the set is the scissors. They come in handy for cutting up veggies like lettuce, or firm meats like chicken or grissely steaks. I am so glad such a great quality product like this exists. As long as they continue to make these, I will continue to go back to them. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with these knives. They are razor sharp and have held an edge after weeks of daily use. Unlike my previous knives I am hand washing these and not running them through the dishwasher just because I like them that much and want to take good care of them. They feel great in my hand, the santoku, chef and paring knives are my favorite. I have not had to sharpen them with the included steel but I did try it out. The shears are very tough and cut through chicken bones to boxes with no problems. Beautiful and stylish looking set that performs like top dollar kitchen knives I've used, if you're looking for a good set of kitchen knives these are a great choice.

I've never seen a block set include the sharpening steel until this one! The knives are made of stainless steel, so I'm confident that they will last a lifetime, or maybe more! One of my favorite parts are the sleek handle designs. The handles are made of a hard plastic with triple rivets. The handles are very easy to clean, unlike others with the rubber type of grip that can harbor bacteria and such. The white color will go with any decor! This would also make for an amazing gift!

These knives are super sharp, literally cutting meat and vegetables like butter. I’m replacing my current knife block with this one and the quality and design are perfect, these will last a long time. They’re not too heavy, but do have a nice weight to them. I love that the sharpening steel tool is included and not have to be purchased and stored separately. This will keep the knives sharp and ready to use at all times. Fits well in my hands. I cut up an entire ham, did an onion marinade and made ham loaf and lunchmeat and these knives cut like butter. No need for other machines to cut the meat this made meal prep so easy. There is every size and shape that you would ever need as a home cook, also a sharpener for when you need a bit extra on the blade. Very sturdy feel when cutting and nice heavy balanced handles . I bought these to replace an old set kitchen aide knives. The knives are great for the price. The block is a little in the cheap side but it does the job. My main concern is water spots and rusting. So far, I have not seen any rusting and my family is hard on knives. They do show water spots easily but guess that depends on a lot of other factors. The handles feel a little cheap, more plastic like, if that makes sense. However, Does the job well. Sharp. So really nothing to complain about just giving insight. I have used these for about a month now.

Beautifully designed knife set with a beautiful wooden block. The knifes are all full tang!! So that's a wonderful reason to buy if you've ever had a handle break on you and you were left with 2 pieces and an unusable knife before. Cuisinart is a really good company, American Company. The knife handles are all secured with 3 beautifully polished rivets excel for the steak knives. The knives all look and feel high quality and not like some cheapo piece of crap. Without having to spend a fortune, this set looks as if I did displayed on my countertop.

I bought this set for a gift because I love my set so much! I have this set in white and bought the Black set for my Daughter as a gift. I like the way they cut and slice, the variety of knives and in the block they look nice on the counter. It may sound funny, but I like the way they feel in my hand, my have to do with the weight and style. I wash and dry them by hand and they still look new and I use them a lot! Very reasonable for a good set of knives!

I received my knife set as a gift from a good friend after he visited and noticed that I was having trouble with my old knives being dull and very difficult to keep sharp. These knives are solidly built and very sharp, and seem to be keeping their edge very well. The handles are comfortable and allow a sure grip. I have been looking for a knife set for a while and decided on Cuisinart based on their reputation. The wood block the knives are housed in is very sturdy and looks nice on my counter and the knives are very sturdy, a good grip on the handle, and very sharp. My husband also likes the scissors that are included, that is a must for him. Very good buy and the cost is right for this quality item.

So far this new set that replaced my old set due to the old set on the steak knives had the saw tooth type teeth. They are terrible and will not buy them again. Returned them under warranty and bought this set with the steak knives being the smooth blade. They are so much better. When you are paying this much money for a set of knives they should cut thru anything.

I always review items before purchase. The reviews for the 15 piece cutlery block were mostly positive with a few negatives. I have many Cuisinart products so I decided to purchase them. I am so glad I did because I love this set and I use it daily. So far I have not had to sharpen them which was my biggest concern. I highly recommend this set.

So far, so good! Been using this set for about a month now and love the chefs knife especially! Very sharp, no need to sharpen yet. Scissors are nice and sharp too. Hand washing only, no rust, but some water staining/spotting after air drying. We replaced JA Henckels set (5 years old) with these and like them much better so far!

This was a gift from my employer. The knives are really nice and they seem like they will hold up well but, my past experience with riveted knives was not the greatest; the blades on my last riveted set came loose from the rivets. My most recent set of knives were all one-piece knives (handle/blade) and they held up great. My riveted set were not Cuisinart knives so I cannot really compare my last riveted set to my new Cuisinart set.
