I am very pleased with this product. The drawers open and close very easily and with a little tinkering from a latch inside they will open all the way a first for any file cabinet I have owned and I have owned many many cabinets. I appreciate the wheels which make it mobile and also its good looks (I purchased the white.) It was very reasonably priced as well and Staples' delivery is top-notch; it came in one or two days. I wholeheartedly recommend this file cabinet which is also the perfect size for a home office. At 20-inches deep it is larger than most home office file cabinets but not as large as standard business file cabinets another unique feature.

Bought a black one as white one not in stock ! Put the black one in a 'not-so-obvious- place where its color lends a sense of decoy! Put the white on in a similar place where its color does same. Neither item seems easy to access and tends to detour from a qik grab! Besides, they are not big yet not so small! All that is to say these cabinets lock the top small and the first larger drawer beneath small. They store sensitive frequently used items. When I run off for a couple days, these cabinets seems great for a quick desk clear, lock and go. Would be great if the bottom (third regular sized) drawer also locked BUT I shall work around.

We needed to replace a lockable two drawer file cabinet from a desk set-up that was falling apart. We are very pleased with the size of the drawers in this product as the depth is much more than our previous cabinet. There is a lock with two keys (so we have a spare) and a toggle button on each drawer to keep them in place when unlocked. We had paid for assembly but the assembly company called us to let us know that they thought it might only need the handles put on and did we want to cancel and have it refunded. When we opened the box it was fully assembled.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I purchased 2 and they hold an extensive amount of sheet music books and other files! The only tricky thing is that some of the hanging file folders don't quite slide as easily but I like the fact that they hang on the drawer instead of the metal piece that breaks easily! If you're looking for functional over aesthetics I recommend.

The filing cabinet is small and attractive for a home office. The white color is nice and the top drawer is useful for scissors, pens, or hanging file folder tabs. \n\n\n\nHowever, the drawers are lightweight and not made for heavy use like a commercial filing cabinet. Perfect for my home office though since I needed a little extra filing space.

File cabinet is just as described, comes with lock already installed and keys to fit. The only assembling was screwing on the handles which is very simple. The metal construction is sturdy and sufficient, but not quite as heavy duty as some other more expensive options. For typical small office or home use this is perfect.

Well made and it is great that it has built in wheels. Also the drawers open all the way. But unfortunately the drawers do not have a locking button so both drawers can open at the same time and tilt the cabinet forward. Does have a key lock to lock the both drawers.

A light duty file cabinet but that is how it's characterized. Works well. A handle screw would not screw in all the way requiring a washer on the inside. The castors require 3 screws. A number of them would not go in without a great deal of downward pressure.

This is definitely the price performance leader for two drawer filing cabinets. Drawer slides work fairly smoothly with a heavy load in the drawer. Casters work decently on carpet. The front hanging folder tends to get stuck to the sheet metal but I don't think I really care. Consider this a 95% grade. Since the 100% grade product is double the price I remain 100% satisfied with my purchase of this two drawer filing cabinet.

The color and function are perfect for me but the top drawer did not slide open as well as the bottom. As I purchased online I had no way of knowing beforehand. After a few squirts of silicone spray it did loosen it up and become useful. Another critique would be that only 2 of the 4 casters were the locking kind. I'd be willing to pay a few $ more for that upgrade.

I had a heavy duty extra long metal filing cabinet for years but recently I went on a cleaning-out spree. I needed to downsize to a two-drawer metal filing cabinet of a standard depth that's also light enough for me to maneuver. This one is perfect. So it is not heavy duty but it is not flimsy either. Good for standard paper files.

This 2 drawer file cabinet is really nice for the price. The first one delivered was dented but Staples made the return and exchange for another one very easy. It is very deep and holds a lot of files. It is also extremely heavy which is good so it doesn't tip over but if you want it upstairs good luck getting it there.

This is an excellent easy to put together filing cabinet that allows it to be out of the way in the home office but easily moved to where I need it when working with less frequently used files. The drawers work well with hanging folders and makes organizing files to be more easily accessible a breeze.

The filing cabinet is excellent. It came put together except for the wheels and handles which were super easy to put on. Drawers glide easily it won't tip over wheels make it easy to move. The deliver and packing were great came in without a hitch. I'd definitely recommend this and would buy again.

This is my fifth cabinet of this type purchased from Staples. They all are performing well. However this last cabinet came with a strong mildew smell. Since I needed the cabinet in service quickly I cleaned the surfaces a couple of times to knock down the mildew smell. If I had more time I would have returned the cabinet.

The file cabinet is nice and does not require extra brackets to hold the hanging folders. The issue I have is the drawers were raked; my family had to try and straighten them out to open and close the drawers. I do not know if this happens during delivery or from the manufacturer.

Great file cabinet. I hate cheap feeling things and this cabinet has a rugged sturdy feel. It doesn't feel like a rickety cheaply made “check the box” file cabinet. If you like nice well made things to finish off your office you'll like this one.
