Well, it's a light bulb, but if you look closely, you'll notice it has a funky little tip on the top as if it were a real lighted candle. These are hard to find in the big box stores, so I get mine at Wayfair. They always light up, arrive unbroken and since they are LED, they last a long time and are energy efficient.
