Pretty good for cheap earbuds. The audio is very good for my needs - I use them with the tv and with audio books mainly so I can't say how well they would work for listening to music.

Always reliable, and the best sound of any headphones. Sony has always had the best sound. I'm so lucky they still make a set of headphones with this kind of earbuds. If they ever stop making this kind like every other manufacturer out there has, I will be out of the market for headphones entirely. The kind that squeezes into your ear canal makes me so dizzy I throw up, so if Sony stopped making these earbuds, I would have to just listen to everything out loud in public like a rude person.

I have been using quiet 25 for yrs. And this pair of small earbuds actually sound better than qc 25, except that it does not have noise canceling. these small guys are economic but they are definitely not cheap. The low price is probably the result of highly matured dynamic drivers production.

It was just what I had ordered the Sony black earphones. They were delivered a couple of days earlier than expected. They were packaged in their original Sony package. These earphones are of a good quality just like the old earphones I had. I highly recommend buying items from this seller.

These headphones just straight up sound bad. There's no other way to say it. They can get very loud which is a plus, but trying to listen to music on these is a very poor experience, bass is non-existant. This isn't a problem with being worn out either, I just bought these 30 minutes ago. If I wasn't buying them to replace a pair that had broken I would return them. They are EQ'd to heavily favor mid-range frequencies, meaning that stand-alone vocals are the best fit for these headphones. If you only listen to audiobooks and podcasts these aren't too bad, especially with how loud they can get. But music on these should be avoided wherever possible.

I like this in ear (not canal) style as it allows me to listen to music without tuning out the world around me. The sound is very good. I would not rate the sound as exceptional but they definitely perform better than expected with a good overall tonal quality. The lows are warm but not punchy and the mids and highs are accurate. These are not audiophile quality but they are good for everyday use and I find them very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is not great. I mostly listen to podcasts with it and it works ok for that. The sound quality is not good for listening to music.
