This 2500 reel is a great choice for bass setups and is made of a strong material, Zion V. It has a perfect design, drag is good, line lay is good, and has a hook keeper in the top of the spool. However, it has a little play in the main gear and the handle and internal gear are not very solid. It is a great spinning reel, smooth and strong, and is perfect for inshore and bass fishing.
