Being native to China, this deciduous shrub is hardy, heat-loving and 'Blood Red' Mildew resistant perfect from the southern United States. This shrub is a multi-stemmed, dense growing deciduous shrub decorated with dark green foliage that turn a golden yellow-orange in the fall. Clusters of showy, abundant, iridescent red flowers bloom from early July to September lasting sometimes anywhere from 3 to 4 months every blooming period. Pruning any spent flowers will prolonged their flowering periods as well.
