Open and airy conifer (cone bearing) with light green foliage turning darker with age. One of the best known trees from the South Pacific. Will tolerate warm temperatures and does not even object to dryness, although it does not like glaring sunshine. Decorates well for any holiday or season. Forest tree group - each 5 years old. Our tree is planted in a water pot which has a well on one side that holds water. We include a fisherman figure along with a fishing pole and ceramic fish. The entire landscape is arranged in an attractive, glazed, imported ceramic container. On the other side of the planting is a well to replicate a tree growing picturesquely along the shore of a mountain lake. We include a fisherman figurine along with a fishing pole and ceramic fish to complete a tranquil & serene Zen-like natural setting. Makes a great unforgettable gift! Water poured in the well DOES NOT provide the water necessary to grow the tree. As stagnant water quickly clouds and evaporates, we recommend filling the well with colored sand, beads, pebbles, candies, etc., to mimic the appearance of placid, scenic lake surface. ALL of our bonsai trees are delivered completely finished - trained, trimmed and potted and ready to go right out of the box. We measure the tree height calculations from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree which includes the root system. The tree that you receive will be substantially similar to the image.
