The Laguna 18|BX is a bigger brother to the 14|BX, and brings industrial features to woodworkers in home shops and pro shops alike. The 18|BX accepts huge blades up to 1-1/4' wide and can resaw stock up to 16' high. It features a powerful disc brake that quickly brings those big blades to a stop. The oversized trunnion offers incredible rigidity for vibration-free performance. The solid cast iron wheels also dampen vibration, are precision balanced, and are fitted with durable urethane tires. The large table is micro-polished and includes a precision fence that can be flipped vertically for resawing, or horizontally for standard ripping. The blade guard is raised and lowered with a worm-drive rack and pinion so your blade guides stay perfectly adjusted regardless of the height. The saw features Laguna's renowned ceramic blade guide system.
