Veronica repens, or commonly referred to as Creeping Speedwell, is a perennial, low-growing ground cover that produces masses of light blue little blooms. This Veronica is perfect for the front of the flower border or in-between stepping stones. Creeping speedwell is a low growing ground cover plant only reaching 2 inches in height and growing as a perennial in USDA zones 4 - 8. It is considered to be an alpine plant and will perform at an elevation of up to 7500 feet. Sow Veronica seed indoors 6 - 8 weeks before the last expected frost Sowing Rate: Approximately 1000 seeds covers 20 square feet. Press the seed into the soil but do not cover it.
