Brand new plastic model kit of Douglas SBD Dauntless Bomber Aircraft (Level 4) 1/48 plastic model kit by Revell. Brand new box. Colorful decal artwork. Vintage style packaging. Officially licensed product. Contains 53 detailed parts. Paint and cement required (not included). Manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Parts molded in LIGHT GRAY, unless otherwise indicated. Dimensions approximately L-7.75, W-10 inches assembled. Four detailed figures: pilot, gunner, deck handler, and landing signal officer. Operating landing gear, movable machine gun, dive flaps and dropping bomb. Decals included for Dauntless from USS Wasp, Guadalcanal, 7 August 1942, and no.25 squadron RNSZAF Seagrove New Zealand, July 1943. The U.S. Navy SBD Dauntless was the most famous carrier-based dive bomber of World War II. Built by Douglas Aircraft Company it served the Navy, Marines and the Army (as the A-24) and also many of our World War II allies.
