Outfitted with a Radiantex reflective coating, the boots' removable 13mm felt liners reflect heat inward to further minimize heat loss. Midsoles made of 1/2" layers of EVA foam and nylon-covered Phylon top a full 3" of cold-blocking material between your feet and the cold surfaces you travel on. Finally, heat-pack pockets inside the boot allow you to insert toewarmer heat packs for additional warmth when needed. Tough leather and textile uppers protect the feet from winter conditions and underbrush with triple-layer, abrasion-resistant guards on the toes and heels and rubber toecaps for added protection.
