The swivel jaw turnbuckle is the tensioning end of our Classic Jaw Assembly . This cable tensioner attaches through eyelets, eyebolts, drilled post tabs or flat metal bars. It accommodates both vertical and horizontal angles thanks to its 180 degree pivoting design, making it ideal for angled runs or stair connections. This turnbuckle is most commonly used in welded steel handrail systems, but can be integrated into any railing that fits its dimensional requirements. Specifications: Use with 3/16" cable only Holes must be large enough to accommodate the 0.3" diameter pin Metal bar or post tabs must be thin enough to fit between the jaw walls, which are 0.38" apart. Attach the turnbuckle to your cables using our 3/16" Cable Crimper and 3/16" Cable Cutter or have us crimp it for you through our Professional Swaging Service . Note: Stainless Steel is highly resistant, but not impervious to the elements, and requires minimal maintenance for ideal results.
