The flowers soften to orange hues and will continue blooming until late fall if spent flowers are removed. Snip a few stems for cut flower arrangements, but dont forget to leave some dried seed heads to provide food for birds in the winter. This special coneflower was bred for a full, highly branched form. This is a compact, clumping perennial that will reach 16 28 inches tall and 10 24 inches wide. The flowers are lightly scented and attract butterflies. This coneflower is extremely cold hardy to zone 4 and drought tolerant. Add it to a sunny perennial border for a hot color block, or try them in containers for a cheerful display on your front porch or patio.
