More Intense coral red stems in winter!! 'Beni Kawa' This is an improved selection of the Coral Bark Japanese Maple. The coral red stems are more intense than other Coral Bark Maples. The small green leaves are edged in red when they first emerge in Spring, Fall color is a vivid yellow. The coral red contrasts wonderfully against snow, sky, or grass. The delicate leaves are light green during the growing season and turn a bright yellow in Autumn. This is a rare horticultural gem that will add distinction to any landscape! Ideal as a specimen, a foundation for a large building, or even a container plant, and excellent for bonsai. Requires partial shade with well drained soil. A gorgeous upright shrubby tree!
