Crocosmia 'Lucifer', Falling Star or Vera Cruz is a corms or bulbs producing bright red flowers that will light up the garden in the summer and attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. Plant them in the border to provide lasting color. The red flowers are often used by florists in flower arrangements so cut some of flowers and make your own arragement for your home. They will naturalize in time but can be divided as needed in the spring. In cooler climates, they may not bloom the first year but will bloom the next spring.
