Guardian 01218 External Shock Lanyard Double Leg Steel Rebar Hook 4'The Shock Absorbing Lanyard is the premiere free fall lanyard offered by Guardian Fall Protection. It meets all the stringent ANSI Z359.13-2013 regulations, and the integrated shock absorbing component limits average arresting forces to 900 pounds or less. It is comprised of 1 inch nylon webbing, and is available in a variety of lengths and connector options, including steel and aluminum snap hooks and rebar hooks, all of which make it one of the most functional and durable lanyards on the market.Meets and Exceeds: ANSI Z359.13-13, ANSI A10.32-12, OSHA 1926 Subpart M, OSHA 1910Features and Specs: 1" Nylon web Clear shock pack for easy inspection 3,600 lb. connector gate Webbing Material(s) Polyester and nylon Worker Capacity Range 130-310 lbs. Restraint: Shock Absorbing Lanyards may be used in Restraint applications. Restraint systems prevent workersfrom reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard. Always account for fully extended length of lanyard. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 1,000 lbs. No free fall is permitted. Restraint systems may only be used on surfaces with slopes up to 4/12 (vertical/horizontal). Applicable D-rings: Dorsal, Chest, Side, Shoulder.Work Positioning: Shock Absorbing Lanyards may be used in Work Positioning applications. Work Positioning systems allow a worker to be supported while in suspension and work freely with both hands.
