Turn the black drill handle counterclockwise out of the red box shown and install the drill onto the original cartridge chip slot; rotate the drill handle clockwise, and the chip will be pushed out from the OEM cartridge. 2. The chip will be pushed out of chip slot, then remove the chip. 3. Rotate the black drill handle counterclockwise to reset its position and unplug it from cartridge. 4. Make sure the orientation of the chip is correct. Insert the chip to the end of the chip slot. 5 .Verify that the chip is flush against the end of the slot and make sure the orientation of the chip is the same as shown. 58A/58X Laser Toner Cartridge Instruction Note 1: Since our cartridge uses the our modified chips, printer will not indicate correct toner level. Don't worry, cartridge life ends when the printout text fades.(The indication won't affect print job) Note 2: When you request printing on your PC, it will prompt a message of "Cartridge Low". You could simply snooze the message going forward.
