The overhead valve (OHV) design of this air-cooled 4-stroke engine with 5.6-quart fuel tank ensures optimal power while offering impressive fuel efficiency. The Honda 4-stroke engine features an electric recoil starting system. Starting the engine is easier, and fuel efficient, due to the digital CDI ignition system with variable timing and automatic decompression system. The Honda 240cc engine also boasts dual drains and fill for quick oil changes, large fuel tank caps that are similar in size to those used for vehicles and big fuel tanks. For easy maintenance, the engine also features an accessible control box and spark plug. Dual air cleaner elements, an optional cyclone air filter and Honda Oil Alert also ensure easy maintenance and reliability of the engine. In addition to being easy to maintain, the engine is also emissions compliant with the Environmental Protection Agency. It also requires no catalyst.
