Description
This enameled cast iron braiser is great for cooking, marinating, refrigeration and freezing. Cast iron braiser can be used on gas, electric, ceramic, induction cooktops and in the oven. The wide base of this braiser allows ingredients to be placed in a single layer for searing without crowding. Enamel surface of this braiser is impervious, allows food to be marinated and refrigerated. The lid retains the original moisture of food, with ergonomic knob and handles for easy lifting. The black rim on the pot is matte porcelain, not exposed cast iron. Hand washing with warm soapy water and nylon scrub brush, metal tools may leave scratches. Always use oven mitts or potholders while moving cast iron cookware from the heat source.
