The new Diamond Face 2.0™ and the Ridgeback™ support system are 2 key factors in this advancement. Ridgeback Technology Ridgeback Tech is a power generator. The Ridgeback spine within the Carbon Fiber crown acts as a brace to create more power on center hit and allows for mroe face flex in the toe and heel, meaning off-center hits achieve greater ball speed and power. The extra rigidity created by the brace produces a stronger feel at impact and results in a brighter and crisper feel at impact. Carbon Wings Tour Edge engineers designed Ridgeback to replace extra steel from the sole and crown with wrap-around Carbon Wings. The use of Carbon Wings saves weight and leads to an optimal low-rearward Center of Gravity aka (CG) position that creates an extremely high Moment of Inertia aka (M.O.I.) to increase stability at impact.
