Red pads are needed for every process completed with a rectangular orbital machine - wet or dry. They hold other pads onto the bottom of your dry stripping machine, and can also be used for light cleaning and/or buffing. When using other pads, you will need a buffer pad between the pad driver and the pad itself. Without the added cushion from the buffer pad, the bristles from the pad driver can gouge through the pad that's in use and damage the floor. Each case contains five 1 inch thick pads. These pads are highly re-usable if washed when they become clogged during use, and by rinsing them out after each and every use.
