The included P-51 Mustang model is extremely detailed and designed to depict the model with the landing gear and flaps up or down with the shutter open or closed. The full-sized P-51 was made by North American Aviation from 1940 to 1984 and is still recognized as one of the most iconic warbirds to this day. This P-51D variant was powered by a massive Paclard V1650-7 Merlin 12-cylinder engine and could deliver 1490hp and over 1700hp at War Emergency Power (WEP). The P-51D featured a water-drop shape canopy and a laminar-flow wing and showed its strength to protect B-17s. The U.S. 4x4 Light Vehicle facilitated great performance by rigid, lightweight structure, and reliable engine, and over 600,000 were produced during WWII.
