Bowers of the 4th Fighter Group, 334th Squadron. It was named "Sweet Arlene" and was credited with six enemy aircraft destroyed. These amazingly detailed do-it-yourself models start out as two square steel sheets. After you follow the detailed instructions, it turns into an attractive 3D model of the P-51D Mustang Sweet Arlene. Model is 4.5"L x 5.5"W x 2.5"H  when completed.  These models require patience and attention to detail, but are a fun project for anyone that loves aviation.  Ages 14 .
