The solar panel is a clean, quiet, and sustainable power source, so no more people coming over to complain about how loud your generator is or about how the propane seems a bit unsafe to them. Instead, you have a silent way to gain energy. They can be set up in minutes and if you have a permanent solar system set up on your roof, this can act as a supplemental system, giving it an extra kick of power. The multiple charging connectivity options allow you to quickly change the charging accessory to suit your needs, even coming with a standard USB connector for charging small mobile devices. The full kit includes a 10 AMP charge controller (or, if you have the 200W kit, it comes with a 30 AMP, single bank charge controller), battery clamps, quick connectors, an SAE solar plug adapter, an XLR-style solar plug adapter, 12 feet of UV 12/2 cable, and a heavy-duty nylon storage case. When you set it up, you'll see that the unit has adjustable folding legs that not only helps to keep the solar panel level and stable, but also allow you to catch the most amount of sunlight by using various angles. The display is adjustable as well, showing the charging current, battery voltage, battery state of charge, and amp hours charged since last reset. This RV solar panel model has 4-stage charging capabilities with high-efficiency monocrystalline cells that give you the most efficient solar energy available. For charging batteries, this unit works for both lead acid and lithium batteries. The frame of the unit is made of silver anodized aluminum and the unit has protection against battery reverse polarity, solar array reverse polarity, over temperature, PV short circuit, and over current. It is CE certified and rated IP52. It is RoHS compliant and environmentally safe. As a note, however, this unit is not waterproof or weatherproof and should not be left unplugged, plugged in overnight, or subject to inclement weather. For the best results, avoid shading no matter how small. While a small object such as a leaf or a broom stick might seem small, it can cause the power output to be reduced, as it blocks the sun.
