Description
The 'Delicious" Muscadine Grape was introduced by Dennis Gray at the University of Florida in 2009. It was bred from a medium-sized bronze grape and a self-fertile black grape with large fruit. When they're ripe, "Delicious" grapes will be oval-shaped and turn purple/black. Like the Carlos grape, it is known for its wine-making excellence. "Delicious" can be harvested earlier than other varieties, produces plentiful yields and is cold hardy up to -5 F.
