Easy-to-grow, this multi-stemmed deciduous shrub has clusters of white flowers that appear in May followed by large violet-black berries that ripen in late summer. The foliage turns an attractive red color in fall. Viking is a self-fertile variety thats a prolific fruiter. Berries are usually made into juice (mixed with apple juice for sweetness), teas, jams, wine or syrup. Grow in full sun.
