The Red Spider Lily is also a very showy cut flower. For the best garden performance, plant in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade. Grow in cool greenhouses or outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced. In zones lower than 7, apply a winter cover and lift Lycoris radiata in fall in zones 4-5.
