Braise mode temperature increases over time to circulate steam. Set slow cooking mode for up to 12 hours. Manual mode features 2 settings - low (77deg.F-203deg.F for up to 12 hours) and high (212deg.F-400deg.F for up to 3 hours). Generous 6-qt. capacity cooks up to six portions. Cast-iron lid has underside grid that self-bastes food for tender results. Large, bright LCD screen provides easy, intuitive control. Enameled cast-iron inner pot is ideal for oven-to-table use; silicone pad protects surfaces. Silicone-covered handles on inner pot facilitate lifting and carrying.
