Yarrow 'Oertel's Rose' (Achillea millefolium 'Oertel's Rose'): 3-4" lovely, large fuchsia flower clusters on lacy sage fern-like foliage with a slightly spicy scent. Nearly evergreen foliage reaches 3-4 feet. Border Pinks 'Fire Witch' (Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Fire Witch'): Showy, profuse, and fragrant magenta-pink blooms spring-fall. Evergreen, 5-6" tall. White Cone Flower (Echinacea purpurea 'White Swan'): Fragrant and wonderful, large (to 4 1/2") white flowers abound from early summer into early autumn with prominent coppery-green central cones. 25-36" tall. Pink Chintz Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum 'Pink Chintz'): A velvety, fragrant, low-growing groundcover forming a mat ranging in color from moss to sage green, with lovely magenta blooms in early to late summer. Tolerates foot traffic. Daylily 'Stella de Oro' (Hemerocallis 'Stella de Oro'): Slightly fragrant sunny golden 2 1/2" blooms begin in early summer on this compact (8-12") daylily with dense foliage and an abundance of reblooming flowers. A more compact semi-evergreen (in southern zones) daylily.
