The Obsession™ Nandina is a newer variety of these popular plants, featuring striking red new growth in spring, and vibrant red foliage in fall, even in warmer areas where fall color is often insignificant. That brilliant color lasts all winter, bringing brightness and a big lift to your winter garden. It has compact growth, reaching no more than 4 feet tall, and 3 feet wide, so it is the perfect color-rich choice for any space in your garden, big or small, where you need low shrubs to fill your beds, or to create beautiful edges and low borders. Although it looks a lot like bamboo, it is not invasive, and it wont spread far, so for an Asian look in a smaller garden it is a top choice. - Wonderful bright red spring foliage - Attractive, bamboo-like foliage on dwarf bush - Rich red fall coloring - Easily grown in sun or shade - Non-seeding form, so safe to grow everywhere The Obsession™ Nandina grows in all warmer zones, for zone 6 on, and it grows in many light conditions, from sun to moderate shade. It will have the strongest foliage coloring in full sun or minimal shade. It grows well in any moist soil, and once established it tolerates moderate levels of normal summer drought. It has no pests or diseases, and this variety produces no seeds, so it is safe to grow in areas where Nandina can become invasive via seedlings. This highly-rated variety is perfect for so many situations you will wonder how you lived without it in your garden.
