Fixed Mount VHF with Color Display & 25W Output Power The Icom M605 VHF radio offers expandability and features like none other in its class. A larger and wider viewing angle on a 4.3 inch color display provides you with optimal images on your Icom display, as well as a dedicated night mode that makes the M605 easier to operate in darkness. With the ability to add an exclusive display and two additional Commandmics - you can have another whole station setup at another location on the boat. An IPX8 waterproof design protects your Icom from ocean sprays, direct sprays while cleaning the boat, and more while still offering peak performance. A waterproof internal speaker allows for powerful and clear audio to be sent and received. The wide and flat frequency ranges within the speaker allow for the best sound for you to hear and be heard. If you need the ability to talk to your crew on deck or anyone on shore, simply use the 30W two-way hailer or foghorn feature. Along with all of the previous listed features, your mic also has the active noise cancelling feature which filters any background noise while receiving or transmitting in a noisy marine environment. If water happens to get inside of the mic on your M605, simply use the aqua-quake feature to drain excess water out of the mic so everything is transmitted and received clearly. Providing the upmost functionality at all times whether with a weak or strong signal received and filtered by your Icom, you can ensure you have leading receiver performance at all times, whether in an emergency situation or just for day to day communication. Simple networking capabilities through NMEA 0183/NMEA 2000 connectivity allows the Icom M605 to share numerical data such as AIS reports, DSC information, and radio frequency data with your NMEA compliant MFD.
