Google had announced that app developers need to add account and data deletion details in Play Store listings, and this is now live.

As reported by BleepingComputer, the cybersecurity firm Zscaler has revealed that it has discovered more than 90 malicious apps on Google Play which were collectively installed 5.5 million times.

Google Play Store now features an "Account Deletion Available" badge on apps, enhancing user control over data with a compliance deadline of May 31, 2024.
