The SDS screws provide a lower profile compared to standard through bolts. The Strong-Tie CCQ5-4SDS2.5ROT post base features a Gray Paint finish for corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
