Not to mention its eye appealing foliage and even more appealing bluish to purple blooms, ajuga makes an all around great groundcover. Ajuga thrives in a part shade to shade locations but also grows well in full Sun, just slightly slower. Provide water when the top 2 in. of the soil is dry until established and enjoy your ajuga for many years to come. Plant will be shipped in dormant state potentially from fall to early spring (metabolic inactivity-shredded foliage and minimal branches).
