Not to mention its eye appealing foliage and even more appealing bluish to purple blooms, ajuga makes an all around great groundcover. Ajuga thrives in a part shade to shade locations but also grows well in full sun, just slightly slower. Provide water when the top 2" of the soil is dry until established and enjoy your ajuga for many years to come. Plant will be shipped in dormant state potentially from fall to early spring (metabolic inactivity-shredded foliage and minimal branches).
